Hey, y'all! If you're looking for an elegant, yet easy, appetizer to serve at a party, look no further than my Auntie JJ's Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms. These mushrooms have been a favorite of mine for years, as they are chock-full of flavor. Everyone loves them!
Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients: Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
- 30 large mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed (2 packages - 30 or more)
- 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. parmesan cheese, shredded
- 16 oz. hot sausage
- ½ c. chopped onion
- 3 tbsp. teriyaki sauce
- 1 tsp. oregano

How to Make Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Wipe mushrooms clean with a damp cloth and remove the stems.
- Cook sausage and onion together until sausage is fully-browned. Drain grease.
- Mix all ingredients and stuff the prepared mushrooms evenly. The stuffing should rise above the mushroom.
- Place a wire rack on a baking sheet. Bake until mushrooms are softened and stuffing has browned, 30-35 minutes.

Pro Tips For Making This Recipe
- Ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy mixing with other ingredients, resulting in a smoother stuffing consistency.
- To save time, prep the mushrooms and sausage mixture in advance, assembling them just before baking for a quick appetizer or snack.
- If the mushroom caps are uneven, carefully trim the bottoms with a knife to create a flat surface for stability while baking.
