Pro Tips For Making This Recipe

  1. Using a pre-made fig jam or fig spread makes this recipe come together in moments!
  2. Allow the goat cheese, sour cream, and cream cheese to come to room temperature before mixing. This ensures a smoother and creamier texture in the final spread.
  3. When spreading the mixture in your serving dish, create distinct layers for visual appeal. Start with the goat cheese mixture, then add the fig spread, and finish with a neat layer of sliced almonds.
  4. Refrigerate the spread for at least an hour before serving. This not only helps the flavors meld together but also gives the spread a firmer consistency, making it easier to scoop onto crackers or baguette slices.
