  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ c. breadcrumbs
  • ⅓ c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. prepared honey BBQ sauce
  • 1 c. BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. Sriracha sauce

How to Make Sweet and Spicy BBQ Meatballs

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, honey, and Sriracha. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. Set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, and ¼ cup of the prepared sauce. Mix gently until just combined.
  5. Roll the mixture into small meatballs and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes, flipping the meatballs halfway through so they brown evenly.
  7. Transfer the cooked meatballs to a large bowl. Pour the remaining BBQ Honey Sriracha sauce over the top and gently toss until evenly coated.
  8. Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles for a hearty meal.
