Broccoli Casserole with Ritz Topping

Hey, y'all! There are few casseroles more delicious - or quintessentially southern - than broccoli casserole. As such, I'm excited to share the recipe for my Broccoli Casserole with Ritz Topping on the blog today. I hope y'all love it as much as I do!

Broccoli Casserole with Ritz Topping Ingredients

  • 20 oz. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and fully-drained
  • 1 c. Duke’s Mayonnaise
  • 1 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 10.5 oz. cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • 2 c. crushed Ritz crackers
  • 4 tbsp. butter, melted

How to Make a Broccoli Casserole with Ritz Topping

  1. Cook frozen broccoli according to package instructions. Drain broccoli of all liquid post-cooking.
  2. Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 13x9 baking dish with vegetable oil cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, mayonnaise, cheese, cream of mushroom soup, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  4. Place the broccoli mixture into the baking dish. Top with crushed Ritz crackers and pour the melted butter evenly over the crackers. Bake for 35 minutes or until bubbly and browned.

Pro Tips For Making This Recipe

  1. Be sure to fully drain the juices from the cooked broccoli, as they will make the casserole runny and less rich.
  2. If you want the casserole to be cheesier, you can add more cheese (start with 1.5 c).
