Georgia Peach Lemonade

Hey, y'all! Ready to sip on a glass of sweet, sweet summertime? Look no further than my Georgia Peach Lemonade! It doesn't get more southern than that!

Georgia Peach Lemonade Ingredients

  • 6 c. of water, divided
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. of sliced peaches, frozen or fresh
  • 1 c. fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • Fresh lemon and peach slices, for garnish

How to Make Georgia Peach Lemonade

  1. To a medium saucepan, add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and sliced peaches. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Strain the peach syrup through a fine mesh sieve, pressing down on the peaches to get all of the juice. Allow the peach syrup to cool.
  2. To a large pitcher, add lemon juice, peach syrup, and 5 cups of water. Stir well.
  3. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh lemon or peach slices.

Pro Tips For Making This Recipe

  1. Taste the peach syrup after simmering with sugar. If you prefer a sweeter lemonade, you can add more sugar during this step.
  2. For an alcoholic version of this lemonade, consider adding a splash of vodka or bourbon.
