As I was cooking up some new spins on the classic recipe this weekend, I ended up with these Chorizo Sausage Balls. They are absolutely delicious + pack so much flavor. I know y'all will love them just as much as I do!

Frequently Asked Questions
Here in the United States, we are most accustomed to Mexican Chorizo. Mexican chorizo is traditionally made with finely ground pork and several spices. Unlike other types of chorizo, Mexican chorizo is most commonly cooked without the casing and finely crumbled.
You can purchase chorizo from your local hispanic grocery store or from any major supermarket, such as Kroger or Walmart.
It's harder to eyeball chorizo than American breakfast sausage due to the color. Internally, chorizo should reach 160F to be considered done.

Pro Tips For Making This Recipe
- If you want to make these ahead of time, you can pre-roll the sausage balls out into balls and freeze them. If doing this, place them on a lined baking sheet and allow them to fully freeze. One frozen, you can remove them from the baking sheet and place into a gallon freezer bag.
