Equipment

  • Stand mixer

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork chorizo sausage
  • 2 c. bisquick or baking mix
  • 1 c. cheddar cheese
  • 1 block cream cheese
  • hot sauce to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • In a stand mixer, combine pork chorizo sausage, bisquick, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and hot sauce. Mix until fully combined.
  • Roll out sausage balls into evenly sized balls. Place on a lined + greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 22-25 minutes or until sausage is cooked through. Allow them to cool for 4-5 minutes prior to removing from pan. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If you want to make these ahead of time, you can pre-roll the sausage balls out into balls and freeze them. If doing this, place them on a lined baking sheet and allow them to fully freeze. One frozen, you can remove them from the baking sheet and place into a gallon freezer bag
