Hey, y'all! It is likely that you are familiar with the classic gin or vodka martini. Personally, I like a gin martini with a lemon twist. In fact: that's my go-to drink! That said, there are many fun variations of martinis and I'm super excited to be sharing one of the most delicious - and decadent - versions with you today: my Pecan Pie Martini. Yes, you read that correctly. It's as delicious as it sounds and has a secret ingredient: Rivulet Pecan Liqueur!

Pecan Pie Martini
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, absolutely. You want this martini to be as cold as possible!
Typically, cubed ice is your best bet, as it does not dilute the cocktail as much. As this is a quick shake, I like shaved ice here, as the dilution helps tone down the richness of the cocktail.
While I think the heavy cream is an important ingredient in my Pecan Pie Martini, you can substitute coconut milk or another non-dairy milk if needed.
Rivulet, which is an artisan pecan liqueur local to Louisville, is a wonderful addition to many cocktails and dishes. While the dish itself doesn’t have to have pecans in it for Rivulet to be a wonderful addition, it takes a pecan-forward dish to the next level. The liqueur + pecans combine to create the best flavor you’ve tasted south of the Mason-Dixon!

Vodka: Plain, non-flavored vodka of choice.
Irish Cream Liqueur: Such as Bailey's.

Cinnamon: for garnish.

How to Make A Pecan Pie Martini: Step by Step Instructions
- Place ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Pour in Rivulet, vodka, Irish Cream Liqueur, and heavy cream. Shake well, though not overly.
- Strain cocktail into a martini glass; top with cinnamon; and serve!

Pecan Pie Martini: Tips
- Do not over-shake, as significant dairy is involved.
- Don't skip out on the cinnamon: this cocktail is mute in color. The cinnamon, while also adding to the already-robust flavor, adds visual interest.
- If you are wanting this recipe to be less dairy-forward, substitute a dairy-free milk alternative for the heavy cream.
