- 2 oz. lemon juice
- 1 oz. simple syrup
- 2 oz. sparkling water
- Fresh mint
- Fresh lemon wheels for garnish
In a sturdy glass, put in half of the lemon juice along with 2 fresh mint leaves. Crush the mint leaves with the lemon juice.
Put ice into the glass, then pour in the rest of the lemon juice, simple syrup, and sparkling water.
Stir thoroughly to mix and chill.
Fill another glass with fresh ice, and strain the mixture over the ice.
Top with a sprig of fresh mint and a lemon wheel for garnish.
- Opt for freshly squeezed lemon juice and crisp mint leaves for optimal flavor.
- You can substitute pre-made lemonade for the lemon juice and simple syrup. Use the same proportions.
- When muddling, gently press mint leaves to release flavors without bruising the mint.
