Instructions
Add diced apples, cranberries, and a cinnamon stick to a pitcher.
Pour in ½ cup simple syrup, 1 cup apple cider, and the bottle of Pinot Grigio into the pitcher and stir to combine.
Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and allow it to sit for a minimum of 6 hours but no more than 24 hours.
Before serving, add the Brut Champagne or Sparkling Wine into the pitcher, stir together and serve with an optional cinnamon sugar rim.
Notes
If the apples in the fridge lose their freshness or color, remove them from the pitcher and replace with fresh ones before pouring in the champagne or sparkling wine.
Feel free to substitute the simple syrup with ¼ cup of sugar or honey, or skip it altogether.
Additionally, for a twist, consider using pomegranate seeds instead of fresh cranberries.
