- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ¼ c. red wine vinegar
- ¼ c. reduced sodium soy sauce
- ¼ c. olive oil
- 1 ½ tsp. dried parsley
- ½ tsp. dried oregano
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
In a gallon-size zip-top bag, combine vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, and seasonings. Seal and shake to mix.
Add the chicken to the bag, seal it up, and turn it a few times to coat.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Flip the bag occasionally to keep things even.
When ready to grill, heat your grill to medium (about 350°F). Rub the grates with vegetable oil to keep the chicken from sticking.
Place chicken on the grill, cover, and cook for 5 minutes.
Flip the chicken, uncover the grill, and cook another 4–5 minutes or until the internal temp hits 165°F.
Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Cook to 165°F for juicy, perfectly cooked chicken.
- This marinade also works well with chicken thighs.
- No extra salt is needed since the soy sauce adds plenty.
