- 1 lb. breakfast sausage
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 10 oz. Rotel drained onto paper towels to remove the moisture
- 1.5 c. Bisquick
- 2 c. shredded cheese
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the sausage, cream cheese, Rotel, Bisquick, and shredded cheese until well combined.
Use a 1.5-inch cookie scoop to scoop out the mixture and gently roll it into a ball.
Place them 2 inches apart on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes and use a thermometer to check that the largest one is 165 degrees internally.
- Drain the Rotel well to prevent excess moisture from making the mixture too soft.
- Use a cookie scoop to keep the sausage balls uniform so they bake evenly.
- Check the temperature and make sure the largest sausage ball reaches 165 degrees internally.
- Mix thoroughly, as softened cream cheese blends much more easily.
- Leave space on the pan to help the sausage balls brown nicely.
