  • rectangular tray

Ingredients
  

  • fresh strawberries
  • fresh blueberries
  • white cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • After washing and drying your fruit, remove the stems from the strawberries. Cut cheese into equally-sized rectangular slices.
  • Place your blueberries in a small white bowl and set it in the corner as a placeholder on your rectangular tray. The blueberries will eventually resemble the top left corner of the US Flag.
  • Make equally sized horizontal lines of cheese and strawberries on the platter. I like to make the lines double - two lines of strawberries, two lines of cheese, etc.
  • Leave the blueberries in the bowl or pour them into the remaining open space. Straighten your lines and enjoy!

Notes

  • The amount of each ingredient needed depends on the size of your rectangular tray.
  • Use a rectangular tray with high sides to keep everything in place.
  • Alternate the lines of cheese and strawberries to create a visually appealing pattern.
  • Start arranging from the top of the tray to ensure straight lines.
