Hey, y'all! All desserts are not created equal. There, I said it. If you're a long-time reader here on the blog, you'll know that I'm more of a savory recipe lover. That said, there's something about key lime pie that is simply euphoric. I'm excited to share my recipe for the the Best Key Lime Pie you've ever had - with just one bite, you'll think you're in Key West.

The Best Key Lime Pie: Ingredients

  • 1 Store-Bought Graham Cracker Crust (9 in)
  • 14 oz. Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 5 egg yolks
  • ⅓ c. Key Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp. Fresh Lime Zest
  • Limes, for garnish
  • Whipped Cream, for garnish

How to Make the Best Key Lime Pie

  • Preheat oven to 375F.
  • Separate egg yolks from whites; beat yolks until smooth.
  • Combine egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest. Mix well.
  • Pour mixture into graham cracker crust.
  • Bake for 15 minutes; afterwards, place in freezer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Top with whipped cream and sliced limes, if desired.
