Equipment

  • crockpot/slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 32 oz. frozen cocktail meatballs
  • 20 oz. teriyaki sauce
  • 20 oz. crushed pineapple with juice
  • ½ c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • hot sauce to taste
  • sesame seeds for garnishing

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients, minus the sesame seeds, to a crockpot. Stir to mix all ingredients, ensuring meatballs are fully coated.
  • Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours. Stir every 20-30 minutes to ensure that they do not burn. Meatballs are done when warm in the center.
  • When serving, garnish with sesame seeds. Enjoy!

Notes

  • There is no need to make fresh meatballs for this recipe; use frozen cocktail meatballs!
  • Do not drain the pineapple juice from the crushed pineapple -- it adds great sweetness to the meatballs!
  • Crockpot meatballs are done when the inside is warm; they are fully-cooked when frozen.
