- 36 oz. smoked sausage sliced
- ¾ c. Coke
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. honey Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp. chili powder
Add your kielbasa to a bowl. Add the Coke, brown sugar, mustard and chili powder. Give everything a stir until it is well combined.
Add the kielbasa to the slow cooker and cover.
Cook for 4 hours on high or 6 hours on slow.
For the last bit of the cooking process, I remove the lid from the slow cooker so the sauce can get thick.
At the end of cooking, if the sauce is not thick and glazy enough, you can add the sausage to a baking dish and broil until glazy.
- Use regular cola, not diet, so the glaze caramelizes properly.
- Add red pepper flakes if you want a little heat.
- Crack the lid during the last part of cooking to help the sauce thicken.
- Broil the sausage for 1–2 minutes at the end for an extra-sticky finish.
