- 2 oz. passion fruit juice
- 1 oz. tequila
- 1 oz. orange liqueur like Cointreau or Triple Sec
- ½ oz. simple syrup
- 1 oz. fresh lime juice
- Tajin for the rim
- Lime wedges for garnish
- Ice
Grab your cocktail shaker and toss in the passionfruit juice, tequila, orange liqueur, simple syrup, lime juice, and ice.
Shake it about 15 seconds or until it’s nice and chilled.
To rim your glass, pour a little Tajin onto a plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip it into the Tajin.
Strain your cocktail into the glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with a lime wedge, kick back, and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
- If you can get your hands on fresh passionfruit juice, do it. The flavor is unbeatable.
- Add a slice of jalapeño to the shaker if you’re feeling bold. It’ll give your margarita a little heat.
- Hosting a crowd? Multiply the recipe and serve it in a large pitcher.
- Pop your glasses in the freezer for a few minutes before serving. It keeps your drink colder longer and makes you feel fancy.
