- ½ c. beer a light lager or ale works well
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp. Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp. hot sauce adjust to taste
- ¼ tsp. paprika
- ¼ tsp. salt adjust to taste
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
Grate the cheddar cheese and set it aside. Ensure the cheese is at room temperature for easier blending.
In a food processor, combine the grated cheddar cheese, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Pulse the mixture until the ingredients are well combined and the cheese is finely ground.
With the food processor running, slowly pour in the beer. Continue blending until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Taste the beer cheese and adjust the seasoning as needed, adding more salt, pepper, or hot sauce to suit your taste.
Transfer the beer cheese to a serving dish and cover. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
