Ingredients

  • 2 c. cheddar cheese shredded
  • 8 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1-2 jalapeño pepper(s) seeded and diced (use based on your heat preference)
  • 4 oz. diced pimentos drained
  • ¾ c. Duke's mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • In a bowl, stir together cheddar cheese, cream cheese, pimentos, mayonnaise, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Fold in bacon and diced jalapeno.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with artisan crackers, biscuits, carrots/celery, on top of a burger... get creative!

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level through the inclusion of the fresh jalapeños. Start with one and add another if you want a bigger kick!
  • I'm a southerner, so I must say: your choice of mayonnaise matters. Opt for Duke's mayonnaise for its distinctive tangy flavor, which enhances the overall taste of the dip. I'm a Duke's loyalist!
