- 1 lb. medium shrimp
- ½ c. butter
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ c. dry white wine
- 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- ¼ c. chopped fresh parsley
- 8 oz. linguine cooked
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 5 minutes or until soft.
Add shrimp and cook over medium heat until shrimp turn pink, about 4 minutes. Add wine, parsley, and lemon juice. Simmer for about 2 minutes.
Add cooked linguine and toss until pasta is covered in sauce.
- Don’t overcook the garlic and keep the heat moderate so it softens without burning.
- Use a dry white wine to add depth of flavor, though broth works well if you prefer an alcohol-free option.
- Cook the shrimp just until pink since overcooking can make them rubbery.
- Toss the pasta in the skillet so the noodles soak up the buttery, lemony sauce.
- Finish with extra parsley to add freshness and color.
