Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • ¼ c. chopped parsley
  • 2 tbsp. minced garlic
  • ¼ c. red onion finely diced
  • ¼ c. shredded parmesan
  • ½ c. Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • toppings of choice
  • hamburger buns

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, parsley, garlic, onion, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, egg, and salt.
  • Mix until well combined, then form the mixture into patties.
  • Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Place the cooked patties on buns and dress with your choice of toppings.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Don't overmix; simply combine the ingredients until just mixed to avoid dense, tough patties.
  • After forming the patties, you can refrigerate them for 15-20 minutes. This helps them hold their shape better during cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the patties reaches 165°F for safe consumption.
