Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese room temperature
  • ½ c. butter softened
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • ¾ c. confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • ¾ c. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ c. finely-chopped pecans
  • Graham crackers/Nilla wafers for dipping

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until fluffy.
  • Gradually add sugars, beating until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
  • Place cream cheese mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap; shape into a ball.
  • Refrigerate for another hour (or more!).
  • Just before serving, remove the plastic wrap and roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans.
  • Serve with graham crackers or Nilla wafers.

Notes

  • For easier mixing, ensure your cream cheese and butter are at room temperature before beginning.
  • Refrigerate the mixture for a minimum of 2-4 hours to allow it to firm up for easier shaping.
  • Placing the cream cheese mixture on plastic wrap makes shaping and cleanup a breeze.
