Equipment

  • Stand Mixer + Whisk Attachment

Ingredients
  

For The Whipped Cream

  • 2 c Heavy Whipping Cream
  • c Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract

For The Shortcakes

  • 1 carton strawberries washed
  • 1 package store-made shortcakes
  • 1 bundle mint for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

For The Whipped Cream

  • Add heavy whipping cream to the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment.
  • Add powdered sugar + vanilla extract. Whip on high speed for 3-5 minutes.
  • Whip until the cream forms soft peaks, as pictured, when the whisk is raised.

To Construct Shortcakes

  • Add whipped cream + strawberries on top of shortcakes.
  • Garnish with mint, optional.
  • Serve immediately!

Notes

You can also use a large bowl + a hand mixer for this recipe; however, I prefer using a  stand mixer.
