What type of pumpkin should I buy?

It’s important to not purchase pumpkin pie mix; you want 100% pure pumpkin puree for this recipe. I purchased mine at Aldi for under $1 in the baking section; that said, it is readily available at any supermarket!

What should I mix it with?

The best part of this recipe is that it is a one bowl recipe. Less cleanup = happiness, am I right? I prefer to put all ingredients in my food processor, as I think it creates the most even consistency. That said, you can certainly use a spatula and a large bowl!

I want the dip to be fluffier — is that possible?

Yes! I like it dense – but if you want it fluffier, there’s a simple fix: fold in some cool whip/whipped topping. It’s a wonderful addition!

What should I serve it with?

This creamy pumpkin dip pairs perfectly with crackers, pretzels, and/or apples!

Should I refrigerate?

Yes! Refrigerate until you are ready to serve; it will also last a couple of days in the refrigerator!
