Pro Tips For Making This Recipe

  1. Use crushed ice if you can. It keeps the drink colder and looks real pretty in that copper mug.
  2. Chill your ginger beer and cranberry juice ahead of time. Nobody likes a lukewarm mule!
  3. Fresh lime juice is a must. Skip the bottled stuff, it just ain’t the same.
  4. Want to make it extra festive? Toss in a sprig of rosemary with those cranberries for a holiday vibe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make this non-alcoholic?

Absolutely! Just leave out the vodka and you've got a tasty mocktail.

What is the best ginger beer to use?

Any brand you love works fine, but the spicier ones really make this mule shine.

Can I make a big batch for a party?

You bet! Simply maintain the ratio and mix it in a pitcher. Add ice right before serving so it doesn't water down.

Do I need a copper mug?

Nope! It's traditional, but any glass will do. The mug just keeps it extra cold and looks cute.
