Pimento Cheese Sausage Balls
The ultimate sausage ball recipe = my Pimento Cheese Sausage Balls. Easy to make - and most importantly: they aren't dry!
- 1 lb. pork sausage I prefer to use hot sausage, but you can use mild if you'd like
- 12 oz. pimento cheese I use Palmetto
- 1.5 c. Bisquick
- 1 block cream cheese
- 10 dashes hot sauce I recommend Cholula
- 1.5 tbsp. minced onion
Preheat oven to 400F.
In a stand mixer, mix all ingredients together until uniformly combined.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and form the sausage mixture into balls of the same size. I think it's best to use a small ice cream scoop to ensure consistency (and it's easier!).
Bake for 20 minutes or until the sausage balls have reached your desired level of brownness.
