In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Brush the mixture into 9 cups of a muffin pan, reserving the remaining garlic butter.
Divide the dough into 9 equal, golf ball-sized pieces. Roll into balls and place one in each muffin cup. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until slightly puffy.
Lightly coat your hands with cooking spray and press a deep well into the center of each dough ball. Brush a little of the reserved garlic butter inside each well.
Place a pepperoni slice in each well, add a spoonful of pizza sauce, and top with shredded mozzarella.
Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until golden brown. Brush the tops with the remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with additional Italian seasoning before serving.
Notes
Brush generously with garlic butter for the best flavor.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
Pile on the mozzarella for an extra cheesy center.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
