Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans Bush's Baked Beans 28 oz. each
  • 1 c. bacon cooked and chopped
  • ½ red onion chopped
  • 1 Green bell pepper chopped
  • c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp. liquid smoke
  • ½ c. bbq sauce
  • 20 oz. crushed pineapple drained
  • Scallions for garnish
  • Pineapple rings for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, combine the baked beans, cooked bacon, red onion, bell pepper, brown sugar, garlic salt, smoked paprika, liquid smoke, BBQ sauce, and crushed pineapple. Toss to mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Bake for 1 ½ hours or until bubbly and thickened. Stir after 45 minutes of baking.
  • If desired, garnish with additional bacon, scallions, and pineapple rings at the 1-hour mark.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Stir the beans halfway through baking for even cooking and flavor distribution.
