In a large bowl, combine the baked beans, cooked bacon, red onion, bell pepper, brown sugar, garlic salt, smoked paprika, liquid smoke, BBQ sauce, and crushed pineapple. Toss to mix well.
Pour the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish.
Bake for 1 ½ hours or until bubbly and thickened. Stir after 45 minutes of baking.
If desired, garnish with additional bacon, scallions, and pineapple rings at the 1-hour mark.
