- 42 oz. apple pie filling
- 13.25 oz. yellow cake mix
- ½ c. caramel bits
- 1 c. unsalted butter
Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
Spread the apple pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
Sprinkle the caramel bits over the pie filling.
Evenly distribute the cake mix on top.
Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until fully melted.
Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, covering as evenly as possible.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the cobbler is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
- Using good-quality apple pie filling enhances the flavor, but you can also make your own for a more personal touch.
- To prevent dry spots in the cake mix, drizzle the melted butter as evenly as possible, using a spoon for better precision if needed.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days, and reheat individual servings in the microwave for a quick treat.
- Sprinkling cinnamon, nutmeg, or apple pie spice over the filling or cake mix adds an extra layer of warmth and flavor.
- Serving the dump cake with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream takes this dessert to the next level.
