Ingredients

  • 6 oz. bag chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 12 oz. butterscotch chips melted

Instructions

  • Melt the butterscotch chips in the microwave in 30-45 second increments. Stir between each heating.
  • Place chow mein noodles and chopped pecans in a large bowl. Once the butterscotch is melted, pour it over the chow mein candy and pecans and stir until evenly coated.
  • Using a spoon or a small ice cream scoop, drop even amounts of the mixture onto wax paper. If the haystacks are loose, press them together lightly with your hands. They will harden in just a few minutes; refrigerate until ready to serve.
