  • 6 cups bread cubes
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 c. whole milk
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • ¼ c. bourbon
  • ¼ stick unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • fresh mint for garnish
  • fresh berries for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Using the stick of unsalted butter, liberally grease the bottom and sides of a cast iron skillet.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, brown sugar, bourbon, vanilla, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
