Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of the lobster shell. The lobster should be shell-side up. Gently pull apart each half of the shell. Slide your finger under the bottom of the lobster meat; push upwards, allowing the lobster meat to rest on top of the lobster shell.
Preparing the Broiled Lobster Tail
Preheat oven to a High Broil.
Mix together all marinade ingredients. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet. Liberally brush the marinade on top of the lobster tails.
Broil for roughly 1 minute per ounce of lobster. For example, if your lobster is 8 oz, you'd broil for 8 minutes.
