Hey, y'all! Happy Labor Day weekend! How is that even possible? In all seriousness, I know many of y'all will be grilling this weekend - myself included. If shrimp is on your menu, look now further than my newest recipe: an Easy, Spicy Pineapple Sauce! It has notes of pineapple, spice, and ginger stemming from the incorporation of Ale-8-One. I know y'all are going to love it - it's the perfect dipping sauce.
And if you want to eat it by the spoon, I won't judge...

This sauce is sure-to-please, as the pineapple and ginger notes from the Ale-8-one pair perfectly together. The best part? You don't have to tell anyone how easy it was to make!

While there are many ways to enjoy a Kentucky-inspired meal this Labor Day, my hope is that y’all will start by making this Pineapple Sauce + stocking up on Ale-8-One from your local retailer (note: I usually buy mine at Kroger!).

About Ale-8-One
Launched in July of 1926, Ale-8-One is the only Kentucky-invented soft drink still in existence. It was invented by G. L. Wainscott and was named via one of America’s first slogan contests at the Clark County Fair. “A Late One” – the winning entry – was a pun adopted for its witty description. From that, a Kentucky legacy transpired.

Not only is it local to our state, you’ll adore the ginger profile of the soda. The unique formula is unparalleled to anything else on the market. Try it once and you’ll be in love, just as I am, y’all!
Y’all come back now, ya hear?
My best,
JC
