Kentucky is often revered for its bourbon - and rightfully so. That said, we're a spirited Commonwealth across all denominations of libations. Tradewater Brewing Company

Tradewater Brewing Company is Madisonville's first craft brewery. After meeting the owner, seeing the space, and tasting some of their beers, I have faith that Tradewater is going to put Madisonville on the map for craft beer!

Formally the site of the Ruby Concrete Company, the Ruby Junction Project is the home of Tradewater Brewing Company. You'll find their taproom located inside the loading dock of the old concrete factory building.

The space attached to the brewery, which has a lot of seating and room for entertainment, still pays homage to the building's history.

The taproom was meticulously and expertly designed. I love that the wood used for the tables was sourced locally.

The beauty of visiting a craft beer taproom is that there's an offering for any palate. Chat with the staff, and they'll help you make a selection; apart from that, I have complete faith that they'll make you feel at home just as they did me.

Pro tip: you'll also find a revolving lineup of food trucks on site!

From IPAs, to sours, to classic craft options -- you'll find it at Tradewater. This craft brewery has great promise and the community seems to agree; the demand for their beer has been immense!

I loved that they source locally when possible: grain, hops, and even fruit.

All of their beer is brewed on site; in fact, you can see the production happening in a divided section of the taproom. I'm excited to see what the Head Brewer comes out with next!
