Hey, y’all! Italian food is a favorite of mine, as it is filling, comforting, and downright delicious. However, it’s one of the cuisines that I prepare the least at home. Due to this, I am always on the hunt for the best Italian spots and I’m excited to be sharing about Sarino, which is located in the Germantown Neighborhood.
This post is in partnership with Sarino. Thank you all for supporting those that make JCP Eats possible. All opinions expressed are my own.

Sarino is a modern, yet rustic, Italian eatery that specializes in pasta & Neapolitan pizza. They offer the best patio in Germantown, along with fabulous cocktails and service.
When I see an extensive charcuterie menu, I can’t resist – and I think that Sarino has one of the best ones in town! Each time, I’ve sampled different combinations and they have all been wonderful.
Focaccia is very popular in Liguria, which is a northwestern, coastal region of Italy; however, it can be found throughout the country. It’s delicious — and is usually just seasoned with olive oil, salt, and herbs. I love the focaccia at Sarino!

Their Neapolitan pizza isn’t to be missed. It is cooked in a high-end oven & made with specialized flour, both of which are imported from Italy – you can taste the difference! Featured is the Calabrese Salame, which has san marzano tomato, smoked mozzarella, spicy calabrese salame, and parmigiano reggiano.
Meatballs are also a great choice.
If you like shrimp, don’t miss out on the Grilled Shrimp entrée. It features delicious, large shrimp on top of spinach orzo, oven-roasted roma tomatoes, and grilled lemon.
The Veal Parmigiano features tender, thin-cut, lightly-breaded, pan-fried veal with oven-roasted roma tomatoes and sautéed spinach.
