Coffee in Shelby County, KY: ShelbyKY Coffee Trail
Whether you like strong, black coffee like me -- or if you have a hankerin' for a more artisanal, crafted caffeinated beverage -- you'll find it in ShelbyKY. Pro tip: don't just get coffee; these local businesses also have delicious treats to enjoy alongside your drink!
Sixth and Main Coffeehouse
Sixth and Main, which roasts its coffee beans in-house, is one of my favorite stops in Downtown Shelbyville. Located at the intersection of 6th and Main St., this coffeehouse is cozy, quaint, and the perfect place to catch up with a friend. Apart from freshly-roasted coffee, you'll find an array of espresso drinks, homemade scones, Kizito cookies, and an excellent selection of local Kentucky art.

The Paddock Coffee, Eats, & Gatherings
The Paddock is also located in Downtown Shelbyville in a historic, 100-year-old building. They offer hand-crafted, high-quality coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and seasonal favorites. They also offer great bites, such as bourbon-inspired desserts, homemade muffins, and both breakfast/lunch options. You'll love the exposed brick + the ample space to gather with those you love.

Brick + Mortar Boutique and Coffeehouse
The next stop on the ShelbyKY Coffee Trail takes you to Simpsonville. Brick + Mortar Boutique and Coffeehouse is everything a small-town coffee shop should be: quaint, welcoming, and above all else, delicious. From hot teas, lattes, mochas, macchiatos, americanos, and espresso to chai tea lattes, cold brew, and frappes — they have it all. They also offer breakfast items, sandwiches, paninis, and other freshly-baked goodies!

Weathered Oak Farms Cafe
The final stop on the trail, Weathered Oak Farms Cafe, is sure to cap off your adventure in a warming, delicious way. Weathered Oak is known for its sourdough-based products and delicious drinks. When it's warm outside, there is a beautiful patio in the back to enjoy while there! From lattes, to crisp coffee, to unique tea-based drinks (check out the jasmine tea that I ordered!), they have something for everyone. No matter your order, do not go without ordering a cinnamon roll -- they are the best in the Commonwealth!
