Bud and Cheryl's Ice Cream Shoppe Menu

Bud and Cheryl's Ice Cream Shoppe will certainly induce nostalgia. You order at a walk-up window and receive your ice cream and food at the other window. There are plenty of places to sit, ranging from an outdoor bar area to a plethora of picnic tables. The property is quite large; apart from eating outside, I also noticed people dining inside their car and taking it to go.

The menu features all the classics: burgers, fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings - ice cream cones, sundaes, milkshakes, malts, and even Dole Soft Serve!

They offer many specialty items with fun names - you might want to try the Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, a Fat Elvis, or maybe a Yippee Skippee!

What I Ordered

We started by sharing a double cheeseburger with onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Let me say this: that's a serious burger. It was delicious!

I've never met a chocolate malt that I didn't love - and the malt at Bud and Cheryl's was fabulous!

The highlight of the visit, for me, was the Dole Pineapple Whip. So full of flavor and a favorite of many travelers - you can get it right here in Danville, KY!

Lastly, I must also point out that Bud and Cheryl's is dog-friendly. Lincoln loved sitting outside at the picnic tables, visiting with the other guests, and they even serve pup cups (topped with dog treats!). Needless to say, he was in heaven.
