Bardstown Bourbon Company Kitchen & Bar

Mar 21, 2019 · Modified: Nov 20, 2021 by JCP

Hey, y'all! Embarking on a restaurant tour of Kentucky? You can't miss the Bardstown Bourbon Company Kitchen & Bar. They specialize in simple, yet refined Southern comfort food with local and seasonal ingredients. On site, you'll also find fresh + sustainable cocktails, a curated wine collection, and a spirits library filled with more than 400 vintage American whiskeys.

This post is in partnership with Bardstown Bourbon Company. Thank you all for supporting those that make JCP Eats possible. All opinions expressed are my own.

Post updated 4/23/21.

About Bardstown Bourbon Company

Located in the heart of Bourbon Country on 100 acres of active farmland, Bardstown Bourbon Company is one of the country’s most modern and technically advanced whiskey distilleries. They celebrate the art of making high-quality, authentic whiskey, as well as offering production through their one-of-a-kind Collaborative Distilling Program.

The Food + Drinks

Highlights of the dining experience included: Glazed Brussels Sprouts (pan seared, bourbon bacon, Kentucky blue cheese), Grilled Cheese Sticks (served with a dunk-worthy, classic tomato soup), the hand-cut fries, Shrimp and Grits (Red Gulf Shrimp + cheddar grits), Macaroni + Cheese (creamy, cheesy, and the right amount of crunch/texture), Gnocchi (sweet potato gnocchi, broccolini, covered in a bourbon-infused mushroom sauce), and a buttery, delicious, 8 oz. prime filet!

If you're struggling with what to order, I'd most recommend the filet and the gnocchi.
