A Personal Note
As a young gay male that grew up in rural Kentucky, Lady Gaga's music meant a lot to me in my youth. When you felt like a black sheep, just as I did for years, it was empowering to have an escape outlet. To understate, her songs have been played on a many country roads in Southern Kentucky.
Lady Gaga's lyrics inspire individuality, freedom, and pride - qualities that I now embody as an adult, for which I owe thanks. It is an honor to be telling y'all about this collaboration and I'd like to think that younger Jacob would be very proud of this moment. I know that I feel that same pride as an adult.
