Ginger Crab Cakes

Hey, y’all! Crab cakes. All of the crab cakes, please. They’re one of my favorite foods to order out at restaurants; that said, they are truly so easy to make at home! Today I’m sharing one of my favorite varieties with y’all — my ginger crab cakes, which have a splash of Kentucky-based Ale 8 One in them. I know y’all are going to love them!

1 tbsp. parsley, chopped

Black pepper, to taste

Old Bay Seasoning, to taste

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, mayonnaise, dijon mustard, Ale 8 One, lemon juice, chopped parsley, black pepper, Old Bay Seasoning, kosher salt, and garlic powder. Add in crabmeat and breadcrumbs, folding gently until well-incorporated.
  2. Shape crab cake mixture into patties of your desired size.
  3. Over medium heat, cook crab cakes in oil for roughly 2 minutes/side or until they are golden brown.
  4. Enjoy!

Pro tip: Top with a chipotle mayo, remoulade, tartar sauce, or the sauce of your choice.
