Hey, y’all! Pimento cheese is my all-time favorite snack — and it’s my most popular recipe here on the blog! I receive questions from time to time requesting vegetarian/vegan recipes and/or vegetarian/vegan alternatives to my recipes. While I do not adhere to those dietary restrictions, I am excited to share my vegan pimento cheese recipe with y’all today! A modern, vegan take on a southern classic… I hope y’all enjoy!

Vegan Pimento Cheese Recipe
Vegan Pimento Cheese Recipe
Ingredients:
1 bag of Plant-Based Cheddar Cheese + 1 bag of Plant-Based Mozzarella Cheese
1 c. vegan mayo
3 tbsp. Dijon mustard (I use Grey Poupon, which is vegan)
1 jar of pimentos
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tsp. black pepper
Kosher salt, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together (I use my stand mixer) until well-combined and refrigerate. Serve on a croissant, with crackers, or on top of romaine lettuce!

While I do prefer my traditional pimento cheese recipe, I hope that this will prove to be a great substitute for y’all!

Y’all come back now, ya hear?
My best,
JC
