Hey, y’all! There’s pie and then there’s the best Southern Key Lime Pie that you’ve ever put in your mouth. It’s super easy to make – and, with just one bite, you’ll think you’re in Key West. The best part? I’m going to teach y’all how to make it today!

As with many of my recipes, there aren’t many ingredients. I believe in choosing high quality ingredients that speak for themselves — and this Key Lime Pie is no exception.

One of the key ingredients in this recipe are the eggs; if you’re not new around here, you’ll know that I have a strict devotion to Happy Egg. Why? They are simply the best on the market.

The Best Key Lime Pie Recipe

Cook Time 15 mins
Freezing Time 15 mins

Servings 8 servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Store-Bought Graham Cracker Crust 9 in
  • 14 oz. Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 5 Happy Egg Blue + Brown Heritage Breed Free Range Eggs™ yolks only
  • 1/3 c. Key Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp. Fresh Lime Zest
  • Limes for garnish
  • Whipped Cream for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375F.
  • Separate egg yolks from whites; beat yolks until smooth.
  • Combine egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest. Mix well.
  • Pour mixture into graham cracker crust.
  • Bake for 15 minutes; afterwards, place in freezer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Top with whipped cream and sliced limes, if desired.
  • Enjoy!
