Hey, y’all! I am excited to introduce you to my newest recipe: Green Chili Jam Bacon + Date Cauliflower Pizza. A mouthful? Certainly. Jam-packed with flavor? Like you’ve never tasted before.

The star of the show is the Green Chili Jam, which is a product of Louisville-based Big Whisk Brands. I recently became aware of the jam, and to understate, I’ll say this: it’s incredible.
About Green Chili Jam
Green Chili Jam is a custom product that is made for my fellow food lovers. It starts off sweet, yet finishes with the perfect amount of heat. It’s used in a plethora of ways: as a topping, sauce base, dressing, glaze/marinade, and simply as a jam/spread. Natural incorporations include tacos, pizzas, nachos, meats, and biscuits — however, if you’re like me, a simple taste of it will have you planning an entire menu based around it!

The best part? Award-winning Green Chili Jam is all-natural, gluten free, and vegan. Need I say more?
Green Chili Jam Bacon + Date Cauliflower Pizza
I was inspired to make this recipe due to my recent addiction: medjool dates. Dates are a variety of sweet, flavorful fruit — they are great to use in cooking and for snacking! The heat/kick of the Green Chili Jam paired really well with the sweetness of the dates, too. For a little salt, I decided to add bacon – because, well, everything is better with bacon. Am I right (or am I right)?

Lastly, I chose to use a store-bought cauliflower crust. You can most certainly make this on a traditional pizza crust or any other flatbread of your choosing. I chose cauliflower, as it has proven to be a go-to during my weight loss journey. I purchase my cauliflower crusts from Kroger and Trader Joe’s.

The Recipe
Green Chili Jam Bacon + Date Cauliflower Pizza
Ingredients:
1 Store-bought Cauliflower Pizza Crust
3/4 Jar of Green Chili Jam (used as the pizza sauce + on top!)
6 Slices of Bacon, cooked and chopped
8 oz. Fresh Mozzarella
6 Medjool Dates, pitted and chopped
Cherry Tomatoes, for garnish
Basil, for garnish
Directions:
- Cook store-bought cauliflower crust according to given directions.
- Once done, use roughly 1/2 jar of Green Chili Jam and spread evenly over the crust.
- Top the pizza with sliced dates, chopped bacon, and fresh mozzarella. Add additional Green Chili Jam on top if desired (I used another 1/4 of the jar).
- Bake at 400 degrees for roughly 10-14 minutes; broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, watching carefully.
- Garnish with cherry tomatoes + basil.
- Slice and enjoy!
It’s as easy as that, y’all!
