Hey, y’all.
Those that know me in real life would all assert one thing about me: I’m frugal (or, as we say in the country, “i’m tight”). As such, I’m so excited to be sharing some great money-saving tips while shopping for your groceries at Kroger; further, I’ll show y’all some great features on the app to make your shopping experience as smooth as silk!

To reap the benefits of the Kroger App, you must first download it from the App Store onto your smart device. The app is free to use; however, I’d argue that the effective cost is negative, as it will save you money!
How To Save Money With The Kroger App

One of the best features on the app is located in the middle of the bottom bar: “Savings”. In this section, you will find exclusive Kroger Digital Coupons. Hear me out, y’all: before you buy it, look for a coupon.

Another great money-saving feature, which is located beside “Savings” on the bottom menu, is the Weekly Ad. Prior to shopping in-store, be sure to check this sales advertisement — if you’re like me, it will guide many of your purchases + alter your weekly meal plans!

I save a lot of money at the gas pump when I use my Kroger Rewards Card; I often wonder how many points I have (or, rather, how many cents off I’ll have at the pump). With the Kroger App, there’s no second guessing: the “Rewards” tab will show you both your current fuel points + community rewards.
As my Granny taught me: a penny saved is a penny earned, y’all.
Other Helpful Features Of The Kroger App

I LOVE making my shopping list on the Kroger App before going to the store; I am so very absent-minded and my shopping list keeps me in check. Further, when you choose the store that you plan to shop at, your list will update the items to show their location in the store (the frozen fruit above, for example, is in Aisle 14 of my hometown Kroger). This makes grocery shopping so much easier + faster!

Looking for the Kroger store nearest to you? No worries! The app has a very convenient “Store Locator” which will show you all surrounding stores!

Kroger Pay — this is a new one for me, y’all, but I’m in love with it. With Kroger Pay, a single scan adds your Kroger Card info and pays for your order. This is safer than swiping your traditional credit card; further, it’s more hygienic and clean, as it is contactless.

Last, but certainly not least, it would be erroneous to not mention the “Recipes” section of the Kroger App. If you’re looking for meal inspiration, this is the place for you. All ingredients are available in store + Kroger has expertly provided app-users with a wide array of dishes.
As y’all can see — the Kroger App has many, many benefits. It’s convenient, aids in your shopping experience, and is easy to use. However, most importantly to me, it helps Kroger shoppers save even more money.
Be sure to download it in the App Store!
Y’all come back now, ya hear?
My best,
JC
