The Premium Seating Experience at the Louisville Palace

The Premium Seating Experience at the Louisville Palace in Louisville, Kentucky by JC Phelps of JCP Eats, a Kentucky-based food, travel, and lifestyle blog

Hey, y’all!

Concerts.

I love them. I love them with all of my being – and if you’re like me, going to one is a treat and an experience in and of itself.

Here in Louisville, my favorite venue has always been the Louisville Palace. The old-fashioned marquee, the ornate decor, the gorgeous design – it’s always held a special place in my heart.

Upon walking in the first time, I remember it taking my breath away… and it still does.

When I think about the Louisville Palace, I think about happy memories. Bob Dylan. MGMT. Norah Jones. Old Crow Medicine Show. Luckily for me, the Palace is still creating those moments for me, most recently with Lizzo.

Lizzo is an icon. Case in point.

As a plus-size individual, and a body positive blogger, I very much resonate with the message that Lizzo spreads. I think it is powerful that she is a role model for many now. While I missed out having her in my life during the transformative years of my youth, she is influencing me as an adult and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to see her live.

To review the concert:

Her voice is amazing.

Her dance moves put anyone to shame.

She was born to be a star.

From the moment that she took the stage to the moment she exited – with flute solos, powerful vocals and rap verses, twerking, inspirational chats – I was mesmerized.

The cherry on the top was the fact that I got to experience the show at my favorite venue; thank you to the team at the Louisville Palace for making this experience possible.

While I’ve attended a couple dozen shows at the Palace, this was my first time using the Premium Seating Experience.

And just like that, y’all, my concert-going experience was forever changed.

The Premium Seating Experience is a program designed to maximize the utility of the guest (you can tell that I have a degree in Economics with that phrasing – I’ve loved when readers have emailed me regarding that phrasing!). It exists to provide unparalleled customer service and hospitality, a superior entertainment experience, and a fantastic night at the venue.

When you attend a show and are a part of the Premium Seating Experience, you receive prime seat locations, exclusive amenities, a private entrance, dedicated restrooms, access to the Marquee Lounge, pre-show appetizers, a dedicated concierge, premium parking, and much more.

With full confidence I can tell you that the Premium Seating Experience with the team at the Louisville Palace is worth it; I wouldn’t recommend it to y’all if I didn’t believe that wholeheartedly.

My friend Katie and I arrived to the venue early, used the private entrance, and were sitting down in the lounge with food and drinks in under three minutes. We enjoyed waiting for the show in the private sitting area, took advantage of the photo booth, and even contemplated playing a game of pool (I decided to watch because, to understate, I’m not the best. My skills – or lack thereof – should not be showcased in public).

We both agreed that it was the most accessible, comfortable, and enjoyable concert experience of our lives. Two thumbs up from both of us!

Have a future show that you are planning to attend at the Louisville Palace? You can find more information about the program here; aside from that, if you have specific questions and/or want to book a Premium Seating Experience at the Louisville Palace, send an email to:
