Louisville Dining | Sarino

Today’s feature is a newcomer to the Germantown food scene: Sarino. They boast Neapolitan pizza (with both an oven & specialized flour imported from Italy – you can taste the difference) and homemade pasta. In my eyes, it is a very welcome addition to the ever-growing Goss Avenue!

They luckily hosted my friend Nicole and I for a Galentine’s Day dinner. We left with smiles, overly-satiated appetites, and with a fantastic night underneath our belts.

What I Ordered:

Cheese and Charcuterie Board: Parmigiano Reggiano, Dolce Gorgonzola, Sopressata, Fontina.

Arancini (the highlight of the meal for me): fried saffron rice balls, meat, marinara. Delicious.

Pasta with vodka sauce: rigate, vodka tomato cream, shrimp, mushrooms.

The Porker: san marzano, basil, fior de latte, hot coppa, prosciutto di parma, caciocavallo, parmigiano reggiano.

Deconstructed tiramisu.

You can visit Sarino at 1030 Goss Ave in Germantown. Tell them that I sent ya!

As always, Happy Eating!

Y’all come back now, ya hear?

My best,

JCP
